What is Floutwork?

Instead of switching between a browser, a task manager, a note-taking app, and an AI assistant throughout the day, you do all of it inside Floutwork.

The core idea is focus: Floutwork replaces browser chaos with structure, so you can spend less time managing tools and more time doing actual work.

Who typically uses Floutwork?

Floutwork is designed for knowledge workers who rely heavily on the browser and want a more intentional way to work. It’s most popular with:

You can also connect your calendar and email accounts directly, so your schedule and inbox are always one click away without opening a separate app.

Does Floutwork track my data for ads or monetization?

No. Floutwork does not sell your data or use it for advertising. The app includes a built-in ad blocker that is enabled by default, and all Productivity Metrics data is stored locally — only you can see it. You can delete your activity data at any time or disable tracking entirely from the Productivity Metrics settings.

Floutwork’s business model is a straightforward subscription. Your data is not the product.

Can I connect multiple calendar accounts or email addresses?

Yes. You can connect multiple Google and Outlook calendar accounts, and multiple email addresses, within Floutwork. Your calendars surface in the Task Planner so you can see your schedule alongside your tasks. The Smart Inbox Cleaner lets you manage email from all connected accounts in one place.

Can I manage multiple projects at once?

Yes. Floutwork supports multiple Workspaces, each with its own apps, tasks, notes, AI assistants, and settings. You can use workspaces to separate client work, personal projects, or different areas of your business. Switching between workspaces updates the entire environment — including the apps in your nav bar, your task list, and your AI context.

Within a workspace, Project Spaces let you save and restore groups of tabs so you can pick up exactly where you left off on any project.

What AI models does Floutwork use?

Floutwork Pro includes access to multiple leading AI models so you can choose the right one for each task:

You can switch models from the AI Chat dropdown at any time. Each model has a description to help you decide which to use. You can also create AI Assistants — custom AI personas with their own instructions, memory, and file attachments — for recurring tasks.

Focus and organization. Most browsers are general-purpose tools that make it easy to open dozens of tabs, switch between unrelated tasks, and lose track of what you were doing. Floutwork is designed specifically for work: every feature — the Work Launchpad, Task Planner, Workspaces, AI Assistants, and Productivity Metrics — is there to help you stay oriented and move through your work with less friction.

The goal is to replace the scattered, chaotic browser experience with a structured environment where everything you need is in its place.

How secure is Floutwork?

Floutwork takes security seriously. The app is built on a Chromium browser engine and receives regular security updates alongside each release. Your passwords are stored in an encrypted Password Vault that you control, with import and export support for easy migration. Productivity data stays on your device.

Floutwork also ships security patches in point releases — you’ll see these noted in the changelog. Keeping the app up to date ensures you have the latest protections.

Is there a mobile version of Floutwork?

Not currently. Floutwork is a desktop application available for macOS and Windows. A mobile version is not available at this time. The desktop focus lets Floutwork offer deep integrations — like full browser control, screen sharing from within meetings, and multi-monitor support — that would not be possible on mobile.

If you work primarily from a laptop or desktop, Floutwork is designed to be your main working environment throughout the day.
