Most browsers are built for everything — shopping, social media, news, ads. Floutwork’s Smart Browser is built for one thing: work. It organizes your tabs by app, keeps your projects in separate workspaces, and opens every web tool you need without ever leaving Floutwork. The result is a browser that reduces noise and keeps your attention where it belongs.

What makes it a work browser

A standard browser treats every tab equally. You open Slack, then Gmail, then a Jira board, then accidentally land on a news site. Tabs accumulate, context collapses, and focus disappears. The Smart Browser works differently:
  • Tabs stay grouped by app. All your Gmail tabs stay together. All your Slack tabs stay together. You always know where to look.
  • No ads, no distractions. A built-in ad blocker removes advertising from every page you visit.
  • Full-screen mode hides everything outside the browser window so you can work without visual noise.
  • Web apps open inside Floutwork. You never need to switch to Chrome, Edge, or Firefox — your tools live in one place.
The Smart Browser is not a replacement for your personal browser. Think of it as a dedicated work environment. Keep Floutwork open for work and use your regular browser for everything else. This separation alone can significantly reduce distraction.

Tab grouping by app

Every time you open a web app inside Floutwork, the Smart Browser automatically groups its tabs together. If you open three Gmail windows, they cluster under Gmail. If you open two Jira boards, they sit together under Jira. This means you spend less time hunting through a flat tab bar and more time doing the work.

Workspaces

Workspaces let you organize your browser around different projects, clients, or roles. Each workspace holds its own set of tabs, pinned apps, and context — completely separate from your other workspaces.
1

Create a workspace

Open the Workspaces panel and click New workspace. Give it a name that matches the project or role.
2

Add your tools

Open the web apps you use for that context — your project management board, team chat, relevant docs. They stay in this workspace.
3

Switch contexts in one click

Click any workspace in the panel to instantly switch to that project’s environment. Your other workspaces stay exactly as you left them.

Launchpad

The Launchpad gives you instant access to your most-used web apps without searching or typing URLs. Pin any web app to the Launchpad and open it in one click from anywhere in Floutwork.
The Launchpad is always visible regardless of which workspace you’re in, so your go-to tools are never more than one click away.

Full-screen mode and ad blocker

When you need to focus, switch to full-screen mode to hide Floutwork’s sidebar and any surrounding UI. The page fills your screen and nothing competes for your attention. The built-in ad blocker runs automatically — no extension to install, no configuration required. Ads are stripped from every page you visit inside the Smart Browser.

How web apps open inside Floutwork

When you click a link or open a tool in Floutwork, it loads directly inside the Smart Browser. You do not get redirected to Chrome or another browser. This keeps your work consolidated and means your Workspaces, Tasks panel, Notes, and AI Chat are all available without switching applications.
Some web apps may prompt you to open links in an external browser. In most cases you can dismiss this and continue in Floutwork’s browser without any loss of functionality.
