Download and install Floutwork on Mac or Windows

Floutwork is available as a native desktop app for Mac and Windows. This page walks you through system requirements and installation for each platform. The whole process takes less than five minutes.

Floutwork includes a free 14-day trial with no credit card required. After the trial, you can continue with the free version or upgrade to Pro.

System requirements

Download and install

Visit floutwork.com/download and select the version for your platform.

Mac (Apple Silicon)

1. Download the installer

   Go to floutwork.com/download and click Download for Mac (Apple Silicon). Your browser will download a .dmg file.

2. Open and install

   Open the downloaded .dmg file. When the installer window appears, drag the Floutwork icon into your Applications folder.

3. Launch Floutwork for the first time

   Open Launchpad or your Applications folder and click Floutwork. If macOS shows a security prompt the first time you open it, click Open to continue. Floutwork will launch and guide you through initial setup.

Mac (Intel)

1. Download the installer

   Go to floutwork.com/download and click Download for Mac (Intel). Your browser will download a .dmg file.

2. Open and install

   Open the downloaded .dmg file. When the installer window appears, drag the Floutwork icon into your Applications folder.

3. Launch Floutwork for the first time

   Open Launchpad or your Applications folder and click Floutwork. If macOS shows a security prompt the first time you open it, click Open to continue. Floutwork will launch and guide you through initial setup.

Windows

1. Download the installer

   Go to floutwork.com/download and click Download for Windows. Your browser will download a .exe installer file.

2. Run the installer

   Open the downloaded .exe file. If Windows Defender SmartScreen appears, click More info and then Run anyway. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

3. Launch Floutwork for the first time

   Once installation is complete, click Launch Floutwork or find it in your Start Menu. Floutwork will open and guide you through initial setup.

Keep Floutwork updated to get the latest features and fixes. When an update is available, Floutwork will notify you inside the app. You can also check for updates manually from the app menu.
