# Download and install Floutwork on Mac or Windows

> System requirements and step-by-step installation instructions for Floutwork on Mac (Apple Silicon), Mac (Intel), and Windows. Takes under five minutes.

Floutwork is available as a native desktop app for Mac and Windows. This page walks you through system requirements and installation for each platform. The whole process takes less than five minutes.

  Floutwork includes a **free 14-day trial** with no credit card required. After the trial, you can continue with the free version or upgrade to Pro.

## System requirements

## Download and install

Visit [floutwork.com/download](https://www.floutwork.com/download) and select the version for your platform.

        Open **Launchpad** or your **Applications** folder and click **Floutwork**. If macOS shows a security prompt the first time you open it, click **Open** to continue. Floutwork will launch and guide you through initial setup.

        Once installation is complete, click **Launch Floutwork** or find it in your **Start Menu**. Floutwork will open and guide you through initial setup.

  Keep Floutwork updated to get the latest features and fixes. When an update is available, Floutwork will notify you inside the app. You can also check for updates manually from the app menu.
